The Georgia Orthopaedic Society was a proud sponsor of the Perry Initiative Outreach Program which took place January 18th and 19th at Emory University. The Perry Initiative is committed to inspiring young women to become leaders in the field of Orthopaedic Surgery. This was a hands-on program directed towards both high school and medical school students. According to Dr. Jennifer Tucker, Georgia Orthopaedic Society Legislative Chair and Perry Initiative Volunteer, the program was a huge success!!
